![]() Thank you for sharing your thoughts and thank you for your support! We're sorry you haven’t had an entirely positive experience with AnkiHub and we hope we can change that. ![]() ![]() mostly the closed source is the only red flag atm but I guess that probably wont change any time. Idk what's that about.Īgain a great addon but still room for improvement. Also media syncing is now working however I still find myself missing quite a lot of media especially in the "Additional Resources" section of the Anking Overhaul deck. It's not as bad and the scholarship program is easy to apply to. If the Anking Team would be so kind to contact me at with the media files I would grandly appreciate that. ![]() It doesn't make sense to pay for a platform just to use a small part of it. I don't want to access their whole platform. It's a joke you have to pay for Pixorize, Physeo, Sketchy etc just to get a bunch of pics. I will continue to be a subscriber and paying the $5 because I make use of it and I am capable. It does what it sets out to do for the most part. I've been subscribed for over 6 months for a reason. idk what's going on under the hood and that frankly doesn't sit right in the Anki community. I don't want to contribute because it is unpaid labor and contributors will mostly be nameless, faceless, kind-hearted people who are trying to help others while also paying for an addon. I get y'all have a scholarship program but applying to something to get features that I'm never gonna use is silly. Still though there are many issues with incorrectly synced tags, postponed promises of media syncing, and straight up no eta of a free version. Props to Nick for coming a long way to revolutionizing the Anki scene for med students all around the world. Half baked and riddled with issues but marketed and priced as a full fledged product: don't get me wrong it's a great addon with cool features and all. copyright issue probably but still you can host it on a separate media service like GDrive or Mega (which y'all already do but don't publish on the deck) I don't understand why media can't just be included in the deck. for the Anking Overhaul deck you gotta subscribe to multiple other sources to get the media. Why can't you make certain decks subscription based rather than the whole addon? Maintainers of decks on Ankihub are paying money to contribute to other people's furthering of knowledge. Fair enough but idk why you have to make the whole addon a subscription based model. This is clearly a way to monetize the Anking decks. Disliking it to get Ankihub team's attention lol. It's a good addon but I have a few gripes with it. I've been a subscriber for over 6 months.
